Dr. Robert Floyd, D.O.

Medical Director

Dr. Floyd received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in 2000 and began as the part-time Hospice of Northeast Missouri Medical Director in 2001. In addition to hospice care, he currently maintains an internal medicine practice at Davis Co Hospital and Clinic in Bloomfield, IA. He has provided a calm and consistent medical presence for the past 20 years to Hospice of Northeast Missouri. Dr. Floyd also holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies.

Linnette Baker, RN, BSN

Hospice Director

Linnette rejoined the Hospice of Northeast Missouri team in January 2021 as the Hospice Director. She has nearly 30 years of clinical and management experience in acute, post-acute and community care. She worked for Hospice of Northeast Missouri in 2002-2003. She is dedicated to ensuring Hospice of Northeast Missouri is fulfilling its mission of providing compassionate physical, spiritual, and emotional end of life care to the 10 Northeast Missouri counties we serve. Janelle Albright, MSW

Social Worker

Janelle joined the Hospice team in May of 2021. She grew up in Northeast Missouri and after many years away, returned in 2010 to raise her children in this region.  Janelle completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in 2001 and brings to Hospice her experience in social service/case management with older adults, community mental health, children, and families in crisis. Jani J. Bailey, RN

Registered Nurse

After graduating from Central High School in Davenport, IA, Jani obtained her associate degree of nursing from Indian Hills Community College. Jani has an extensive background working in various patient centered areas at Northeast Regional Medical Center. Jani joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri in November 2021. John Bambrick, BSW

Social Work / Chaplain

John was hired as a part-time Chaplain in December of 2018. When the agency experienced the need for someone to provide social work services John’s degree and willing spirit met that need and he began working full-time in January 2021. John received his BA in Social Work and a minor in Theology from Marquette University and a Master’s in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University Chicago. Carrie Berry, RN, BSN

Registered Nurse

Carrie was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Schuyler County, MO her freshman year of high school.   She started in the healthcare field in 1996 as a CNA and received her LPN in 2000. She got her ADN in 2008 and later completed her BSN.  Carrie has worked in LTC, pediatric home care, home health, acute care, and surgery. Jacquelyn Brayfield, RN, BSN

Nurse Case Manager

After graduating from Knox County High School, Jacquelyn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University. Jacquelyn brings to Hospice an extensive background in nursing having served as an obstetrical nurse, community/home health nurse, and most recently as a charge nurse at the Knox County Nursing Home. Jacquelyn joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri team in July 2022 and she is honored to share her passion for nursing with all those accessing hospice care.

Barbara Buck

Office Manager

Barbara joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri in May of 2022. Her primary responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the office. Lisa Bunch

Volunteer and Development Coordinator

Lisa joined the Hospice of Northeast Missouri team in August 2024. She works with current volunteers and assists with the recruitment of new volunteers in the ten-county region served by Hospice of Northeast Missouri. A veteran herself, she also works with the We Honor Veterans program that is an innovative program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, created in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs, with the goal of caring for and honoring those who have served when they reach the end of life.

Lisa graduated from Kirksville High School and received her BS in Elementary Education from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Mo.

She brings to Hospice of Northeast Missouri experience in business management, program planning and development, counseling, human resources and social services. Most recently she served as the Business Office Manager at Knox County Nursing Home in Edina. Previously she worked at Kirksville Manor Care serving as their social services director.

Carrol Davenport, MDiv. CT

Coordinator for Spiritual Care & Bereavement Services

Carrol joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri as a Chaplain in November of 2006. She holds a Master of Divinity and Certification in Thanatology. Carrol brings a wealth of knowledge regarding death, dying and the grief experience to our agency. Meghan Ellsworth, RN

Nurse Case Manager

A graduate of Kirksville High School, Meghan completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO.

She has an extensive background in various patient centered areas and most recently served as the Infection Control Nurse/Employee Health Nurse for Northeast Regional Medical Center. Previously she served as a Home Health Registered Nurse for the Adair County Health Department and as a RN Staff Nurse at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital. Hatti Jochimsen

Hospice Aide

A native of Hannibal, Mo., Hatti worked for Hannibal Regional as a Med/Surg and Emergency Room tech before joining the Hospice team in November 2022.

Shawnee Kellison, FNP-BC

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Shawnee is a familiar face to many Northeast MO residents as she has provided nursing care in a variety of medical settings for over 35 years. She began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Grim Smith Hospital in 1985. Shawnee received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University in 1989 and continued with Grim Smith as a RN through 1996. After becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) in 1996, her career has led her to patient care service primarily within the Internal Medicine specialty, with subspecialties in geriatrics, dermatology and rheumatology, as well as approximately 20 years in the higher education sector. She assists Hospice of Northeast Missouri with fulfilling regulatory guidelines by meeting with hospice patients to evaluate medical criteria for eligibility to continue hospice services beyond the initial 6-month service period approval. Mallory King, RN, BSN, CHPN

Nursing Supervisor

Mallory is originally from the Northeast MO area. She attended college at Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. Following completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Mallory worked for 2 years on the Surgical Specialties Unit at Boone Hospital Center. In July 2019 Mallory returned to her home area to take a position as a RN Case Manager with Hospice of Northeast Missouri. In 2024 she became the nursing supervisor.

Mallory is a certified hospice and palliative nurse (CHPN). This certification is earned by registered nurses who specialize in hospice and palliative care and dedicate themselves by advancing their education and expertise in hospice and palliative care.

Mallory is passionate about helping patients achieve adequate pain control and providing quality care to not only our patients but their family and caregivers as well. Questions may be directed to support@hospiceofnortheastmissouri.org.

Kelly Nelson, RN

Nurse Case Manager

Kelly grew up in Franklin Grove Illinois, but has spent the majority of her life living and working in Missouri. Before going into the nursing field, she owned a restaurant. She attended college at Indian Hills where she completed her AAS degree. Kelly has a background working in home health and geriatric nursing. She joined the Hospice of Northeast Missouri team in June 2023.

Laura Pearson, RN

Nurse Case Manager

Laura grew up in Edina and graduated from Knox County Highschool, but she has spent most of her adult life living and working in Kirksville. She received her Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in nursing from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. Laura worked at Northeast Regional Medical Center for nearly 13 years in a variety of patient centered areas before joining Hospice of Northeast Missouri in February 2024. She was drawn to nursing after being hospitalized with Guillain-Barre Syndrome as  freshman in high school and receiving excellent care. April Scott, RN

Nurse Case Manager

A graduate of Kirksville High School, April received her LPN at Kirksville Area Technical Center followed by completion of an Associate Degree in Nursing  from Indian Hills Community College.

Most recently she served as a case manager at Northeast Regional Medical Center where she received the Employee of the Quarter award in 2023.  Prior to her work as a case manager, she worked as a clinic nurse at the Schuyler Co Health Department and the Adair Co Health Department. Belinda Stivers

Hospice Aide

From a young age observing her Mother who worked in the healthcare field, Belinda has always had an interest in working in healthcare. Since getting her CNA, she has provided excellent patient care for several different health care organizations. She joined the Hospice team in March 2023.

Heidi Crist Templeton

Development Director

Heidi joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri in March 2022. Her primary responsibility is to assist in getting the word out on the amazing services Hospice of Northeast Missouri provides in their ten-county region. Heidi comes to Hospice with more than 30 years of marketing and public relations experience. Mark Wiewel

Chaplain

Mark has a BS in Business Administration and Criminal Justice, and he has a long history working in the nonprofit world. He has spent the last 6 years working as a volunteer hospital chaplain and brings a wealth of experience. He joined Hospice of Northeast Missouri as a part-time chaplain in June 2022.
